Norfolk Man Arrested for Fifth Offense DUI
NORFOLK - A 28-year-old Norfolk man has been arrested for fifth offense drunk driving and other charges following a Sunday evening accident. Police Captain Leon Chapman says Juan Espinoza was northbound on Magnet Street just before 8 p.m. when he failed to yield to a westbound vehicle on Elm Avenue. The two vehicles collided, and the second vehicle, driven by Ralph Krueger of Norfolk, ended up striking the steps of the house at 601 Magnet Street. Krueger and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to Faith Regional Health Services for treatment. Espinoza was arrested for fifth offense driving under the influence, felony driving under suspension, refusal to submit to a preliminary breath test and refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was also cited for failure to yield right of way.
