Norfolk Man Arrested For Assault
WOODLAND PARK - A 29-year-old Norfolk man has been arrested on assault and weapon charges. Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says Eloy Berena-Perez is accused of assaulting his girlfriend at a residence in Woodland Park. The 31-year-old victim was transported to Faith Regional Health Services with serious facial injuries. She later underwent surgery for those injuries. Unger says Berena-Perez was taken to the Pierce County Jail following his arrest on Friday night.
