Norfolk Hosts National Night Out Event
NORFOLK - Communities across Nebraska and nationwide took part in events Tuesday night that are designed to unify neighborhood residents in the fight against crime. It's known as the National Night Out. A large crowd was on hand for the Norfolk observance in Central Park. The carnival like atmosphere included inflatables, a dunk tank and other games and activities -- plus a demonstration with the Norfolk Police Division's K-Nine unit. National Night Out observances also took place in Pierce, Wayne and South Sioux City.
