Norfolk Dental Survey

NORFOLK - Two students from the Howard University of College Denistry in Washington D.C. are in Norfolk this weekend as part of an effort by the Area Health Education Center conducting surveys on dental use. They are working with the Norfolk Community Health Care Clinic conducting the survey at the Sunset Plaza Mall as part of a community service project. The students are trying to find out things like how often people go to the dentist, how important good dental health is to them, and if they don't go to a dentist, why not? This survey has nothing to do with the fluoride vote Norfolk residents will cast ballots on on Tuesday. The students began the survey Friday, and will survey Sunset Plaza Mall shoppers today through 2 p.m..
