Neligh Water Is Safe to Drink
NELIGH - City employees and volunteers continue to fight flood waters in Neligh -- and City Superintendent Lyle Juracek says they are also fighting rumors. Juracek says the rumor that the city's water is not safe to drink is untrue. He says there is no problem with the city of Neligh's water system. Juracek says the city sewer is also functioning at full capacity at this time. He says a new lift station is located in Riverside Park, and if the Elkhorn River continues to rise, that may need to be sandbagged for protection.
