NIOBRARA (AP) - Services have been scheduled in Niobrara for the mother of three Nebraska men who died when their ship sank in a naval accident during the Vietnam War. A spokesman for the Brockhaus Funeral Home says Eunice Sage died Friday at a hospital in Yankton, S.D. She was 87. Sage had lived in Niobrara. Three of her sons died June 3, 1969, when the USS Frank E. Evans, a destroyer, was cut in half by an Australian aircraft carrier during exercises in the South China Sea.
