More Area Election Results
UNDATED - In some key area races, in Cuming County, County Attorney Tom Donner was behind challenger Daniel Bracht but some technical issues won't make those numbers final until this morning. West Point voters also appear to have defeated a lottery question, while people in Atkinson approved a lottery. In Pierce County, District 2 Commissioner Jim Maas defeated Bob Wiese in that race while challenger Terry Wragge beat District 3 incumbent Tom Meyer 207-to-186. Both of those races are for the GOP nomination. A sales tax proposition in Randolph for a paving project and property tax relief passed 126-to-65. And in the Wayne Mayor's race, Kenneth Chamberlain garnered the most votes -- 430, while Jane O'Leary picked up 281 and Randall Pick 67.
