Interest Continues In Former Tyson Plant
NORFOLK - A bacon processor continues to look at the former Tyson plant in southeast Norfolk. Developers are still waiting on possible financing options. Elkhorn Valley Economic Development Council Executive Director Dave Simonsen says if the project comes through, the facility could initially employ 100 people, and up to 300 by five years. He says it's expected most of the employees who would work there already live in the community and who drive elsewhere to work now.
