High Water On Area Rivers and Creeks
NORFOLK - Flood warnings continue for some area rivers and streams. The Elkhorn River at West Point was just above its 12 foot stage this morning. It will continue to fall below flood stage this morning. The river is at 14 feet at Hooper and should have a maximum value of 15.9 feet this morning. A flood warning was canceled around 5:15 this morning for the Shell Creek near Columbus. The creek was at 18.3 feet this morning. Flood stage is 20 feet. The creek will continue to fall during the day.
