Heineman Nominated
LINCOLN (AP) - Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman has easily brushed off two Republican challengers in the primary election, setting up a November showdown with Democratic businessman Mark Lakers. With 588 of 1,702 precincts reporting Tuesday night, Heineman had more than 90 percent of the vote, cruising past fellow Republicans Christopher Geary and Paul Anderson, both of Omaha.
