Heineman Hopes Administration Listens to Nebraskans
UNDATED - Governor Heineman is urging the Obama Administration to reject the proposed route TransCanada would like to take for the Keystone XL pipeline. He has written the President, stating the pipeline should not be built through the Sand Hills and the Ogallala Aquifer. Heineman says he wouldn't object to the pipeline, if the route would avoid the Sand Hills and the Aquifer. He believes if the Obama Administration denies the permit, TransCanada would be forced to choose a different route.
