Heavy Rain In Northeast Nebraska

NORFOLK - Several counties across northeast Nebraska saw heavy rain fall late Tuesday night -- prompting a flash flood warning for all of Cedar and eastern Knox counties through 5:30 this morning. Radar estimates from this storm system show nearly three-to-four inches of rain fell. Law enforcement reported flash flooding 6.5 miles west of Hartington and water was over Highway 84 shortly after eleven p.m. Just .13 of an inch of rain fell downtown at the studios of 106 KIX during the storm and another .05 fell since midnight. For the day Tuesday, .78 was registered downtown.
