Health Disparities Talk In Norfolk
NORFOLK - A "Community Discussion" on gaps in health disparities between minorities and non-minorities will take place tonight in Norfolk. Gretchen Forsell, Executive Director of the Northern Nebraska Area Health Education Center, says the group will be discussing what can be done in Norfolk and surrounding communities to improve health. The regional conversations bring together local, State, Tribal, and regional experts and practitioners from the private and public sectors to lay the foundation for a comprehensive, community-driven, sustained approach to the issue. Tonight's meeting will be held in the Lifelong Learning Center at Northeast Community College from 6-to-9:30 p.m.
