Hartington Man Killed in Trench Collapse near Crofton
CROFTON (AP) - A Lewis and Clark Rural Water District employee has died after being trapped in a collapsed trench in northern Knox County. Sheriff Jim Janecek says Galen Jueden, 48, of Hartington and a co-worker were working in the trench when it collapsed just before 11 a.m. Friday. Rescuers pulled both men from the trench, but Jueden died at the scene.
