Greatest Generation Remembered In Norfolk
NORFOLK - Those who lived and served during the Second World War were remembered Sunday afternoon in Norfolk. Several hundred people attended the program at the Johnny Carson Theatre featuring testimonials and personal accounts from veterans -- some in person while others were on video. Among them was Ed Mauser of Omaha -- a member of Easy Company -- and featured in the book and film Band of Brothers. He told stories from the Battle of the Bulge and parachuting into Normandy on D-Day.
