Governor Tours Northeast Nebraska
LINCOLN - Governor Heineman took to the air today to get a look at flooding in northeast Nebraska. Nebraska National Guard Adjutant General Judd Lyons joined the governor on the aerial tour which will took them along the Elkhorn River, including Stanton, Wisner, Scribner, Winslow, Arlington and Waterloo. They then surveyed the Platte River from Ashland to Plattsmouth. The governor's helicopter did not land on the tour.
