Governor Says Education Is A Priority
NORFOLK - Governor Dave Heineman says funding education is a priority for him, and he's concerned about just how much money the state will be able to provide for K-12 schools over the next two years. Heineman tells 106 KIX NEWS federal stimulus dollars added to the state aid fund have given schools two years to plan for what is being described as the "cliff year."
