Foul Play Not Suspected In Man's Death

NORFOLK - Madison County authorities have ordered an autopsy on the body of a 42-year-old Norfolk man who had jumped into the Elkhorn River off a Norfolk bridge. County Attorney Joe Smith said today investigators don't suspect a crime was involved in the death of Larry Dickey. He says Dickey's death likely was an accident, but the investigation is continuing. Smith says Dickey's body was found in the river on Monday. It was less than 100 yards from the First Street bridge. A man was seen jumping from the bridge on Saturday evening. A search was conducted that night and Sunday.
