Food Drive Thursday at ILI Food Bank
NORFOLK - A special food collection is planned in Norfolk tomorrow as part of the Can Care-A-Van, a joint project of a Lincoln television station and the Nebraska Farm Bureau. Jean Franchetti, executive director of Improved Living Incorporated in Norfolk, says food donations will be accepted tomorrow afternoon between 1 and 7 p.m. in the parking lot behind the I-L-I Food bank, 106 West Norfolk Avenue. Special needs locally include cereal, jelly, complete meals like Hamburger Helper, canned meats, pasta and juice. She says they will also accept cash and any other food product, paper product, laundry soap or personal care product that residents may wish to donate.
