Floodwaters Still In SW Norfolk
NORFOLK - Floodwaters from the Elkhorn River continue to surround several businesses in the area of southwest Norfolk, but it is starting to recede. The water is generally in the area from Affiliated Foods Midwest at 13th Street on the east to the area near Dollar Tree on 25th Street on the west. The Highway 81 viaduct to the south remains closed this morning -- and identification is required to get on First Street just south of Washington Avenue.
