Flooding Will Bring Mosquito Issues
NORFOLK - Norfolk City Health Inspector John Kouba says flooding brings many dangers of disease to the community, including tetanus. He says the incidence of West Nile virus may be higher this year because of the ideal conditions for mosquito hatching. Kouba urges all homeowners, not just those in flooded areas, to eliminate standing water around their yards.
