Flooding Reported on Ponca Creek in Knox County
NIOBRARA - The State Department of Roads says Highway 12 is closed east of Niobrara - between mile markers 164 and 167 - because of water on the road. Unofficial reports show from 4.5 to 6 inches of rain in the Niobrara area overnight. A flood warning remains in effect for the Ponca Creek, where water levels are more than two feet above flood stage.
