Flash Flood Watch Issued for Tuesday

VALLEY - The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch in effect for all of Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa from 7 p.m. tonight through Wednesday morning. Thunderstorms are expected to develop across the region once again this evening, and could produce very heavy rainfall across portions of the area. The ground is already saturated and any further precipitation will likely result in areas of flash flooding. The communities of Bloomfield, Hartington, Pender, Neligh, Pierce, Wayne, Albion, Norfolk, Stanton, West Point, Tekamah, Columbus and Schuyler are included in the watch area.
