Flash Flood Warnings Canceled
NORFOLK - Heavy rain was reported Monday morning in southern Wayne County where one 106 KIX listener reported 5.6 inches of rain six miles southeast of Winside. Flash flood warnings are in effect for several area counties this morning. A flash flooding warning for Pierce County through 8:30 this morning was allowed to expire. There was a report of over four inches of rain near the Willow Creek Reservoir. A flash flood warning for northern Burt, northern Cuming, northern Madison, northern Stanton, southern Wayne counties and all of Thurston County was allowed to expire at 10:25 a.m. A flash flood warning through 1 p.m. for Boyd County, eastern Keya Paha and northern Holt counties where two-to-three inches of rain fell was canceled at 10 a.m.
