Fatal Collision On NEN Highway
EMERSON (AP) - Two young people on a motorcycle have been killed in a head-on collision with a car near Emerson in northeast Nebraska. The Dixon County sheriff's office reports Christopher Oberg, 20, of Mapleton, Iowa and his passenger Alexis Calfee, 19, of Bennett, Nebraska died at the scene of Friday evening's crash. The driver of the car, identified as Robert Mahler, 55, of Hubbard was taken to a Sioux City hospital.
