Family Fun & Slam Dunks In Norfolk
NORFOLK - Family fun along with a few slam dunks will be part of the offering tonight as the Harlem Ambassadors basketball team takes on a local group in Norfolk. While the Ambassadors put on an entertaining show, they also have a message. Tour Manager and Player Jesse Wently says they tell youth of the importance of getting an education and living a drug free life. Tonight's Harlem Ambassadors appearance in Norfolk is a fundraiser for the Norfolk Optimist Club with proceeds used for its youth activities program. The event at Norfolk Senior High School begins at 7:00. Tickets will be available at the door.
