County Attorney Denies Accusations

YORK (AP) - York County Attorney Bill Sutter says accusations of misconduct made against him are inaccurate.  Among the accusations are those that Sutter has behaved unprofessionally toward his staff and has been unwilling to prosecute cases involving child pornography and those who fail to register as sex offenders. Sutter denied those claims, saying he once declined to immediately file child pornography charges in a case he was unfamiliar with until he could review all that material investigators had gathered. He says before he could do that, the state's attorney general's office offered to take over the case, and he agreed.
