Council Denies Comp Plan Change
NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council voted unanimously Monday night to deny a request for a change in the city's comprehensive plan that would have allowed a commodities business to build at 5700 Norfolk Avenue, next to the WJAG Radio transmission tower. Councilmen were concerned about possible threats to the city's wellhead protection area and about maintaining orderly growth patterns.
