Council Approves Roder's Resigination

NORFOLK - It's official. Norfolk City Administrator Al Roder is leaving at the request of Mayor Sue Fuchtman. At Monday night's meeting, the City Council voted unanimously to accept the termination agreement that calls for Roder to step down on December 31st. In exchange, he will receive about $75,000 and health care coverage for his family. Roder said during the meeting, the mayor and the council are fully within their legal rights and he accepts that. Fuchtman is not saying publicly why she sought Roder's resignation.
