Council Adopts Economic Development Plan
NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council has officially adopted the city's new economic development plan. The LB 840 program -- which uses local tax dollars for economic development purposes -- was approved by citizens last month. Mayor Sue Fuchtman says passage of the ordinance will allow the plan to move forward. The action needed to be taken by Friday, 45 days after the vote, or the matter would have to go before voters again.
