City Purchases South Norfolk Properties

NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council has approved the purchase of property that will allow for the expansion of the City Street Shop. Street Director Jim Koch says they will use the property at 1006 South 8th Street, previously owned by Abler Transfer, to mix brine to control ice on city streets. The City also purchased property at 306 East Monroe Avenue which will allow for expansion of the area around the Water Pollution Control Plant.
