Christian Cross Festival Is Sunday
NORFOLK - A full day of Christian music, children's activities, speakers and fellowship is planned Sunday afternoon during the sixth annual Christian Cross Festival in Norfolk's Skyview Lake Park. There is no charge to attend the Christian Cross Festival, but a free will offering will be accepted to defray costs. Food vendors will be set up in the park. The Orphan Grain Train will be collecting summer-weight clothing for relief efforts in Haiti. The first band is scheduled to take the stage at 12:45 Sunday afternoon, and the day will conclude with a fireworks display at 10 o'clock. In case of inclement weather, the festival will be moved to the Divots DeVent Center on West Norfolk Avenue.
