"Barefoot Bandit" In The Bahamas?
NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - Police in the Bahamas are searching a tourist island for signs of a pilot who vanished after wrecking a small plane there. Investigators in the United States think it could be the American teenager who's become known as "the Barefoot Bandit." The plane had apparently been stolen from an airport in Indiana. U.S. authorities say the theft is similar to others attributed to 19-year-old Colton Harris-Moore of Washington state, who has no formal flight training. Police believe Harris-Moore was involved in a burglary last month in Yankton -- and the theft of an SUV from the Norfolk airport that later turned up in Pella, Iowa.
