Area Woman Dies Of West Nile Virus
WAYNE - An 80-year-old woman from Northeast Nebraska has died of West Nile virus, the first death in the state from the disease since 2008. The death was investigated by the Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department, which serves Cedar, Dixon, Thurston and Wayne counties. No other information about the victim is available.
