Area Dams Serve Their Purpose
NORFOLK - The Lower Elkhorn Natural Resource District is pleased with the way its flood control structures worked in last month's flooding. Lower Elkhorn General Manager Stan Staab says the new Maple Creek Recreation Project protected 7,000 acres and 26 county road bridges along the west fork of Maple Creek.
