Area Community To Consider Bond Issue
COLUMBUS (AP) - Columbus voters will be asked this fall whether they want the city to issue up to $5.35 million in bonds to pay for several projects. Proposed projects that could be funded by the bond proceeds include installing field turf at Memorial Stadium in Pawnee Park and expanding the Pawnee Plunge Water Park. Also on the Nov. 2 general-election ballot will be a measure asking whether voters want to renew the half-cent city sales tax. The tax helps support operations at the city's water park and pool.
