211 Help Line Available for Victims, Volunteers
NORFOLK - The state's referral hotline is functioning in the Norfolk area, and those needing assistance because of recent flooding are urged to call 211. Candace Allan, executive director of the Norfolk Area United Way, says those wishing to volunteer to help flood victims may also call the 211 line to leave their phone numbers and other information. Allan says if the 211 number is busy, an alternate, toll-free number is 877-770-9995.
