106KIX & Jerry's Assist Red Cross
NORFOLK - Donations were collected this morning in Norfolk for the Northeast Nebraska Chapter of the American Red Cross -- which has been very busy over the last two weeks as a result of Elkhorn River flooding. NewsTalk WJAG, Lite Rock 97.5 and 106 KIX radio teamed up with Jerry's Sinclair to allow people to stop by the South 13th Street service station with their donations. Jerry's also contributed ten cents for every gallon of gas sold between 7-to-9 a.m. -- and issued a 100 dollar challenge to other businesses. Donations can still be made to the Red Cross. They may be sent to Disaster Service Relief at P.O. Box 304 in Norfolk.
