2010-09-25T Bow Hunter Education
The Bow Hunter Safety Class scheduled this weekend is now full. However
an additional session needed for the course has been added. We have notified the students through a letter, but Students must now attend both sessions in full:

Sunday September 26, 2010 8:00am - 3:00 pm

8:00 am - The Lied Randolph Public Library will have a huge community rummage sale at the city auditorium on Friday Sept 24 from 3-7 and Saturday from 8-11. Donated items can be left at the auditorium on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8-8, Proceeds will be used for library programs.

9:00 am - The Boy Scouts of America is inviting ALL former Scouts and Eagle Scouts to participate in the Lions Club Parade and celebrate the 100th Anniversary by marching in the parade as a group. Those wishing to join in, please meet Saturday at 9:00 am in front of the Norfolk Senior High or Call Chadwick at 992-2793. Wear your uniform, neckerchief or hat if possible.

10:00am - 5:30pm - Boys Scouts of America are asking for your help in recycling gently used Boy Scout and Cub Scout uniforms and accessories such as belts, shirts, patches etc. Those willing to donate may drop them off at 714 W. Norfolk Avenue from September 27th thru October 2nd daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm.@ (Elkhorn Antiques and Collectables). There is a drop box inside the store, or for more info call Tracy Yost at 841-3037. Thanks in advance for all donations.

11:00 am - The Annual Ride at Willow Creek State Recreation area will be one or Purina's Pink 50 events this Saturday September 25th beginning at 11 am. Please call Diane at 379-0500 for details and reservations. The event is free, but a silent auction will be held as a fundraiser for Breast Cancer. Please wear PINK!

2:00 - 5:00pm - The Norfolk Archery Club, which is celebrating 50 years of existence, would like to invite the public to an open house at its indoor range in the basement of Norfolk Printing Company, 3rd and Philip. Come join us for samples of wild game, cake and beverages. We will also be having a drawing for various prizes, including a free year‘s membership to the club. The open house is Sept. 25 after the Lions Club parade, from 2 to 5 p.m.

7:00 pm - The public is invited to a concert by Nashville recording artist Reggie Shaw on Saturday September 25th at 7 pm in the Johnny Carson Theatre. This event is a fundraiser for CASA of Norfolk, and your free will donation will go to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children. Reggie is from Lexington Nebraska and is looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!
