2010-09-14T Storytime at Norfolk Public Library
Stories, songs and fun activities in English and Spanish are featured at "Storytime" at the Norfolk Public Library each Thursday at 1:30 pm, Fridays at 10:30 am and Saturdays at 10:45 am. Storytime is designed for children age 3 through grade 2. Parents are asked to remain in the Library during Storytime and are welcome to attend with the children. Times may vary, call for details.

Farmers and Ranchers are invited to attend FREE clinics to meet with experienced AG law attorney and Ag financial advisors in a confidential one one one setting, designed to answer questions on estate planning, transition planning, farm loan programs, water rights and other relevant topics. Clinics are held in Norfolk, Grand Island, North Platte, Lexington, Valentine and Beatrice. Call the Rural Response Hotline at 1-800-464-0258 to set up an appointment.

7:00 am - Early Risers For Christ meet each Thursday morning at 7:00 am at the First Methodist Church in Norfolk for their prayer breakfast.

9:00 am - The Norfolk Odd Fellow Lodge #46 will have Stag Night on Thursday beginning at 6 pm at the Lodge. The organization meets each Thursday at 8 pm for their regular meeting, for more info call Rod Colfack at 841-2734.

7:00 pm - The Norfolk Senior Citizens Center holds Bingo every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. Bingo is open to the public and everyone age 18 and older is welcome to play.

8:00 pm - The Norfolk Oddfellow Lodge meet each Thursday night at 8 pm in the Temple, located at 4th and Norfolk Avenue. Stag Night is the first Thursday each month at 6:30 pm, and Family Night is the third Thursday each month at 6:30 pm. For more information call 379-1010.
