2010-08-10T Storytime at Norfolk Public Library
Stories, songs and fun activities in English and Spanish are featured at "Storytime" at the Norfolk Public Library each Thursday at 1:30 pm, Fridays at 10:30 am and Saturdays at 10:45 am. Storytime is designed for children age 3 through grade 2. Parents are asked to remain in the Library during Storytime and are welcome to attend with the children. Times may vary, call for details.

Children's Miracle Network will benefit from Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen locations across the country on Thursday August 5th with a donation going to the Network for every Blizzard treat sold that day.

8:30 am - A Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off will be held in Wakefield on Thursday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at 303 Oak Street, on Hwy 35 across from Cubby's, they are accepting household paint, pesticides, herbicides, oil, yard & cleaning chemicals etc. They are not accepting tires or electronic equipment. 6:00 pm - The Norfolk Odd Fellow Lodge #46 will have Stag Night on Thursday beginning at 6 pm at the Lodge. The organization meets each Thursday at 8 pm for their regular meeting, for more info call Rod Colfack at 841-2734.

7:00 pm - The Norfolk Senior Citizens Center holds Bingo every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. Bingo is open to the public and everyone age 18 and older is welcome to play.
