The Norfolk Catholic Booster Club is chartering a bus for students and a bus for adults to attend the Boys State Tournament on Thursday, March 11.

2010-03-06T Hoops Classic
The 2010 Norfolk Hoops Classic basketball tournament for boys in grades 5-thru-8 sponsored by the Norfolk Boys Basketball Club will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7, . Games will be played at Norfolk Senior High, Norfolk Junior High and Norfolk Middle School.The entry fee is $100, with a three-game guarantee. Division I, II and III levels are available.. 9:00am - 3:00pm - A public H1N1 immunization clinic will be held in Norfolk on Saturday, March 6th at Sunset Plaza Mall from 9 to 3. All vaccines are given free of charge. The clinic is open to the general public of all ages.

9:00 am - The Norfolk Archery Club will host a 300-round archery tournament and the state NFAA 300 tournament on Saturday and Sunday, March 6 and 7. The tournament is open to the public but you must be a member of NFAA to shoot the state tournament. Start times for the tournament are 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. and 12 noon on Sunday. Those shooting the state tournament must shoot both days, and, based on results on Saturday, will be assigned shooting time on Sunday. The club's indoor range is located in the basement of Norfolk Printing, on the southwest side of the building, at 3rd and Phillip streets (2 blocks south of Norfolk Ave. between 3rd and 4th streets).

1:00 - 3:00pm - The Norfolk Arts Center will hold an Artist Reception for the opening of the new exhibit featuring "Remains of Faith: A Pioneer Legacy", photography by Susan Lawler and the Norfolk Parochial School Exhibit in the West Gallery and Atrium Exhibit, on Saturday March 6th from 1 to 3 pm. The public is invited, there is no admission charge.
